Granby Shores
Do you want waterfront property that's essentially affordable? You may possibly
be able to find it in Granby Shores. But if you see a house you care for, make
an offer fast. Real estate here goes quickly. Homes not on the waterfront still
have easy access to water and fishing, thanks to canals and creeks running
through the neighborhood.
The neighborhood is quiet, with large, old trees and beautiful ocean views
and is close to Norfolk Naval Base, shopping and beaches.
A tiny clapboard house, known as the Doll House or the Midget House, built
more than 60 years ago as a scale model for the housing development, is a famous
landmark at Granby Street and West Bay View Boulevard.
